Bakteri tersebut dapat menyerang hampir seluruh organ tubuh manusia, tetapi sebagian besar menyerang organ paru. Salah satu cara yang bisa digunakan untuk pencegahan penularan TB paru yaitu konseling kesehatan yang dilakukan oleh konselor secara personal untuk menekan tingginya jumlah kasus TB Paru, Di puskesmas tigo baleh kota bukitinggi didapatkan pasien tb paru sebanyak 15 penderita tb paru. sehingga perlu adanya konseling personal untuk menolong pasien TB paru. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling personal terhadap perilaku pencegahan penularan TB Paru di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tigo Baleh Di Kota Bukitinggi. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan metode pendekatan design one group pre-test post-test design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 15 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Metode analisa data yang di gunakan yaitu uji paired t test dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa lebih dari separuh (61.5%) responden memiliki perilaku pencegahan penularan TB Paru buruk sebelum diberikan konseling personal dan sesudah diberikan konseling personal didapatkan hasil nilai rata-rata (69.2%) dengan kategori memiliki perilaku baik terhadap perilaku pencegahan penularan TB paru. Dari Uji paired t-test di dapatkan nilai p-value 0,000 (< 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengeruh konseling personal terhadap perilaku pencegahan penularan tb paru terhadap perilaku pencegahan penularan tb paru di wilayah kerja puskesmas tigo baleh dikota bukitinggi tahun 2022. Diharapkan Bagi peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian yang sama dengan menggunakan sampel yang lebih banyak.
