Di Provinsi Jambi angka kejadian lebih dari 65% perempuan mengalami dismenorhea. Dismenorhea yang tidak ditangani akan menimbulkan dampak pada remaja diantaranya mengganggu interaksi sosial yang akan menurunkan kualitas hidup wanita. Hal ini dapat dibantu dengan memberikan Kompres Hangat dan Kompres Jahe Merah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Perbandingan Terapi Kompres Hangat dengan Kompres Jahe Merah (Zingiber Officinale Var Rubrum) terhadap Skala Dismenorhea pada Remaja Putri di SMPN 4 Sungai Penuh tahun 2023. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan Two Group Pre and post Test Design, populasi sebanyak 71, sampel tiap group sebanyak 4 orang dengan teknik purposive sampling, uji Shapiro-Wilk didapatkan data berdistribusi normal, uji bivari at mengunakan paired t test dan t independent. Hasil penelitian rata-rata skala dismenorhea responden sebelum diberikan kompres hangat sebesar 7,75 dan setelah diberikan sebesar 5,25. Rata-rata skala dismenorhea sebelum diberikan kompres Jahe Merah sebesar 7,5 dan setelah dberikan sebesar 2,75. Pemberian kompres Hangat terhadap dismenorhea p-value 0,003< 0,05. Pemberian kompres Jahe Merah terhadap dismenorhea p-value 0,002 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian Perbandingan antara kompres hangat dengan kompres Jahe Merah p value 0,007 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan ada perbandingan antara pemberian terapi kompres Hangat dan kompres Jahe Merah terhadap penurunan skala Dismenorhea pada remaja, dimana kompres Jahe Merah lebih signifikan dalam penurunan skala dismenorhea dibandingkan dengan Kompres Hangat. Disarankan kepada remaja putri di SMPN 4 Sungai Penuh untuk dapat menggunakan terapi komplementer berupa kompres Jahe Merah (Zingiber OffIcinale Var Rubrum) sebagai alternatif dalam mengurangi Dismenorhea. Akan tetapi pada saat persalinan terdapat 10 persalinan per 100.000 kelahiran hidup ditemukan ibu bersalin dengan rujukan atas indikasi kasus KPD, Kala 1 fase Laten lama dan distosia.(profil kesehatan puskesmas 2018). Upaya dalam penanggulangan nyeri persalinan dapat menggunakan pengobatan tradisionl, yaitu dengan aromatherapy kayu manis.. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian aroma terapi kayu manis pada ibu bersalin kala 1. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu desain penelitian kuasi eksperimen one group pretest dan post test. populasinya adalah ibu bersalin. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling .Alat pengumpulan data yaitu lembar observasi. Sampel berjumlah 8 orang. Uji analisis data univariat dilakukan dengan melihat uji normalitas data (uji shapiro wilk) dan uji analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji paired t-test. Hasil analisis univariat diketahui sebelum diberikan aromaterpi kayu manis adalah 6,75 dan sesudah diberikan aromatherapy kayu manis adalah 2,50. Hasil analisis bivariat ada pengaruh penurunan rasa nyeri sesudah diberikan aromatherapy kayu manis, dengan menunjukan hasil (p-value 0,000) maka dapat disimpulkan adanya pengaruh pemberian aroma therapy kayu manis terhadap nyeri persalinan . Dengan adanya pengaruh dari hasil penelitian ini, supaya agar lebih rutin lagi memanfaatkan aromatherapy kayu manis untuk meringankan rasa nyeri tersebut.
