Dengan perpanjangan waktu pengkleman tali pusat dapat menyediakan tambahan darah sebanyak 80 – 100 ml pada bayi baru lahir yang mengandung 75 mg zat besi sebagai hemoglobin yang mencukupi kebutuhan zat besi selama 3 bulan pertama kehidupan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui Bagaimana Efektifitas Penundaan waktu pengkleman tali pusat terhadap luaran bayi di BPM Rita Kota Bukittinggi. Desain Penelitian adalah Quasy Eksperimen, dengan rancangan penelitian post test control group design. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 16 orang untuk kelompok control 8 sampel dan kelompok intervensi 8 sampel. Pemberian intervensi diberikan dengan durasi 3-5 menit. Penelitian ini dilakukan bulan September 2019. Hasil penelitian uji statistik didapatkan bahwa rata-rata Hb Bayi dengan Penundaan Waktu sebanyak 8 sampel (18,5 gr/dl) sedangkan rata-rata Hematokrit Bayi sebanyak 8 sampel (55,2 %) dan rata-rata Hb Bayi dengan segera sebanyak 8 sampel (15,12 gr/dl) sedangkan untuk rata Hematokrit Bayi sebanyak 8 sambil (46,06 %) . Terdapatnya hubungan yang signifikan penundaan waktu pengkleman tali pusat terhadap Hb Bayi dengan p- value 0,000 dan Hematokrit Bayi dengan p value 0,001. Kesimpulan terdapat efektifitas penundaan waktu pengkleman tali pusat terhadap luaran bayi. Diharapkan bidan melakukan penundaan waktu pengkleman tali pusat di tempat praktik sesuai praktik bukti kebidanan. Data kejadian stroke di RSU Mayjen H.A Thalib Kabupaten Kerinci ditemukan sebanyak 45 kasus dari bulan januari-mei tahun 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor risiko kejadian stroke di RSU Mayjen H.A Thalib Kabupaten Kerinci Tahun 2019, meliputi pola makan, aktifitas fisik, konsumsi alkohol, kebiasaan merokok. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan studi analitik dengan pendekatan case control. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di RSU Mayjen H.A Thalib Kabapaten Kerinci pada bulan juli-agustus tahun 2019. Sampel kasus sebanyak 21 kasus didapatkan dengan menggunakan rumus teknik simple random samplingdan sampel kontrol 21 responden yang tidak menderita stroke diambil secara purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan chi square (CI 95%, α=0,05) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan pola makan dengan kejadian stroke (p=0,000; OR=57.000). Ada hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian Stroke (p=0,014; OR=6.250). Tidak ada hubungan konsumsi alkohol dengan kejadian Stroke (p=0,184; OR=6.250), dan ada hubungan kebiasaan merokok dengan kejadian Stroke (p=0,012 OR=6.906). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola makan, aktivitas fisik, dan kebiasaan merokok secara statistik berhubungan dan merupakan faktor risiko kejadian stroke (p<0,05). Sedangkan konsumsi alkohol secara statistik tidak berhubungan. Diharapkan rumah sakit agar dapat memberikan informasi kepada penderita stroke bahwa penyebab kejadian stroke bukan hanya satu tapi banyak juga faktor lain, serta cara pengendaliannya agar terhindar dari serangan stroke berulang. Selain itu, diharapkan bagi penderita stroke dan masyarakat agar menjaga pola hidup sehat, menghindari minuman beralkohol dan kebiasaan merokok. Salah satu faktor yang perlu di perhatikan untuk pencegahannya yaitu pengetahuan tentang mencuci tangan. Mencuci tangan dengan sabun merupakan cara yang tepat sesuai kesehatan. Maka usaha yang paling sederhana untuk menegakkan pilar hidup sehat gemar mencuci tangan. Usaha yang dianggap sepele ini ternyata dapat berkontribusi penting pada upaya pencegahan covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan mahasiswa S1 keperawatan tentang cara cuci tangan dengan prilaku cuci tangan sebagai pencegahan covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan pendekatan cross sectional. Total populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu 76 responden. Tekni pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Data dianalisis mengunakan Uji Chi-Square dan di olah secara komputerisasi. Hasil penelitian dari 76 responden didapatkan 49 responden diperoleh 37 (78,7%) responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang baik yang memiliki perilaku tidak sesuai SOP, sedangkan 17 (58,9%) responden yang memiliki perilaku sesuai SOP dengan pengetahuan mahasiswa yang baik. Hasil chi square didapat p= 0,002 (p<0,005). dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan bermakna antara pengetahuan mahasiswa dengan perilaku cuci tangan untuk pencegahan Covid-19. Disarankan kepada mahasiswa lebih memperhatikan perilaku cuci tangan agar bisa mencegah penyebaran Covid-19.
