Dampak dari kecemasan yang berlebihan yaitu akan mengakibatkan perdarahan, rasa cemas yang hebat, tekanan darah meningkat, persalinan menjadi lama, terjadinya kontraksi, dan juga bahaya kematian pada diri ibu maupun bayi yang akan dilahirkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aromaterapi lavender terhadap tingkat kecemasan ibu bersalin di RS AR Bunda Prabumulih tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian pre experimental design dengan pendekatan one group pre-post test design. Total sampling dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 responden dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data berupa lembar isian dan skala HARS (Hamilton Anxietty Rating Scale) kemudian analisis dengan Paired sampel T test. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebelum diberikan aromaterapi lavender adalah 22,33dan setelah diberikan aromaterapi lavender adalah 21.20. Pada uji Paired sampel T test didapatkan hasil bahwa p=0,000, dimana P < 0.005. sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pengaruh aromaterapi lavender terhadap tingkat kecemasan ibu bersalin di RS AR Bunda Prabumulih tahun 2023. Disarankan kepada petugas kesehatan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang aromaterapi kepada ibu bersalin. Karena aromaterapi merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat diberikan untuk mengatasi kecemasan. Di Indonesia sendiri belum terdapat data prevelensi PMS, Namun Angka kejadian PMS masih tinggi di MAN 2 Bukittinggi dari usia 10-18 tahun sebanyak 645 orang, maka 10 orang yang telah dilakukan survei awal yang sudah mengalami PMS. belum sepenuhnya memahami perubahan yang terjadi pada dirinya, beberapa remaja mengalami kategori berat, sampai aktivitasnya terganggu. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya tingkat pengetahuan mereka dalam menghadapi PMS yang berdampak pada buruknya sikap mereka. Sikap tersebut dapat ditingkatkan dengan kegiatan penyuluhan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat pengaruh edukasi media booklet “prima sehat” terhadap sikap remaja putri menghadapi PMS (premenstrual syndrom) di MAN 2 Bukittinggi tahun 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pretest and posttest. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAN 2 Bukittinggi bulan July s/d Agustus tahun 2024. Populasi sebanyak 20 orang remaja putri dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 18 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner sikap 30 aitem pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian dari analisis univariat menunjukkan rata-rata skor sikap remaja putri pre test 102,94±5,127 dan skor posttest 113,72±,4.885. Terlihat nilai mean mengalami perbedaan antara pretest dan posttest. Hasil analisis bivariat diperolah hasil uji statistik nilai p= 0,000 (p<0,05) maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat perngaruh edukasi media booklet “prima sehat” terhadap sikap remaja putri menghadapi PMS (premenstrual syndrome) di MAN 2 Bukittinggi tahun 2024. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi media alternatif bagi remaja putri memperbaiki sikap dalam menghadapi PMS agar target program tercapai.
