Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasy Eskperimental dengan rancangan The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Group Design.Jumlah sampel sebanyak 28 orang, 13 orang rendam kaki air hangat dan 13 orang masase kaki dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Alat ukur penelitan ini menggunakan kuesioner KSPBJ- IRS (Kelompok Studi Psikiatri Biologi Jakarta – Insomnia Rating scale). Analisa bivariat yang digunakan Paired t-test dan Independent t- test. Hasil penelitian rerata skala insomnia dari kedua kelompok rendam kaki air hangat untuk selisih nilai mean 7 dan masase kaki selisih nilai mean 6, rendam kaki air hangat selisih nilai minimal 7 dan masase kaki selisih nilai minimal 6, sedangkan rendam kaki air hangat selisih nilai maksimal 5 dan masase kaki selisih nilai maksimal 6. Dari kedua kelompok menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan atau tidak ada yang lebih efektif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh pemberian terapi diantara kedua kelompok tersebut terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan tidur pada lansia. Pemberian kedua terapi tersebut dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk penurunan skala insomnia pada lansia dengan dilakukan secara teratur setiap hari selama 15 menit. Namun kenyataan yang ditemukan masih ada mahasiswa di Institut Kesehatan Prima Nusantara Bukittinggi kurang termotivasi dan mengalami stress berat dalam menulis tugas akhir dengan berbagai alasan.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Hubungan Motivasi Terhadap Tingkat Stres Mahasiswa Dalam Menulis Tugas Akhir (Skripsi) di Institut Kesehatan Prima Nusantara Bukittinggi Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ada 34 responden.Teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling dan pengumpulan data menggunakan angket serta diolah dengan komputerisasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square dengan hasil 13 responden dengan motivasi rendah, terdapat 8 responden (61,5%) dengan tingkat stress berat, selanjutnya 21 responden dengan motivasi tinggi, terdapat 1 responden (4,8%) tingkat stress berat sedangkan 5 responden (38,5%) dengan stress ringan tetapi memiliki motivasi yang rendah, hasil uji statistic motivasi terhadap tingkat stress diperoleh nilai p=0,001 (p< 0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini ada hubungan motivasi terhadap tingkat stress mahasiswa dalam menulis tugas akhir (skripsi) di institute kesehatan Prima Nusantara Bukittinggi tahun 2020. Diharapkan pada mahasiswa agar bisa menyelesaikan skripsi tepat waktu, selalu gigih untuk mencari buku yang terbaru, tidak melalaikan waktu dan tidak malu bertanya ketika tidak memahami materi.
