Nyeri yang dirasakan merupakan nyeri ulu hati atau nyeri epigastrium. Nyeri adalah pengalaman sensori dan emosional yang tidak menyenangkan akibat kerusakan jaringan yang aktual dan potensial. Tindakan untuk mengatasi nyeri dapat dibedakan menjadi dua kelompok yaitu tindakan pengobatan (farmakologis) dan tindakan non farmakologis (tanpa pengobatan menggunakan bahan kimiawi). Pengobatan non farmakologis salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan tanaman lidah buaya (aloe vera). Gastritis disebabkan oleh stres, bahan kimia seperti obat-obatan dan alcohol, makanan pedas, asam atau panas. Hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa antara tindakan yang dilakukan secara teoritis dan inovasi memberikan hasil yang baik untuk Tn.A karena nyeri gastritis yang dialami Tn.A bisa berangsur berkurang. Karena di tindakan didapatkan nyeri berkurang dari skala nyeri 6 menjadi skala nyeri 4. Artinya penerapan lidah buaya (aloe vera) terhadap intensitas nyeri pada gastritis sangat berguna dan terbukti bisa mengurangi intensitas nyeri Tn.A. Karya tulis ilmiah ini sebaiknya dapat digunakan perawat sebagai wawasan tambahan dan acuan intervensi yang dapat diberikan pada pasien dengan nyeri gastritis serta dapat meneruskan terapi dan memberikan inspirasi lebih banyak lagi dalam memberikan intervensi keperawatan pada pasien gastritis.
