Namun pada umumnya di masyarakat yang terkena diabetes tipe II jarang melakukan senam kaki. Dari 7 puskesmas di bukittinggi selama 3 bulan terakhir didapatkan data 110 kasus diabetes melitus tipe II di puskesmas guguk panjang tahun 2020. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam kaki diabetes terhadap perubahan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes melitus Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Guguk Panjang Bukittinggi 2020. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Quasy Eksperimen dan pendekatan One Group Pretest Postest serta diolah dengan komputerisasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 16 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Non Probability Sampling (purposive sampling). Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dapat disimpulkan bahwa data terdistribusi normal. Sehingga dengan menggunakan analisa paired samples T tes didapatkan hasil bahwa 16 responden rata-rata sebelum dilakukan senam kaki adalah 172.50 mg/dl, sedangkan rata-rata setelah dilakukan senam kaki adalah 162.19 mg/dl. Dengan demikian hasil uji T (paired sample test) diperoleh p-value < 0,001 (<0,05), yang berati bahwa senam kaki berpengaruh terhadap kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe II di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Guguk Panjang Bukittinggi 2020. Sesuai dengan hasil penelitian diharapkan penderita mampu melakukan senam kaki secara mandiri untuk membantu mengontrol kadar gula darah. Study kasus yang telah dilakukan pada Ny.Z dengan pemberian terapi brand darof ini selama 3 x dalam 1 hari didapatkan hasil adanya penuruan tingkat intensitas nyeri dari 6 nyeri sedang ke 4 nyeri sedang. Terapi ini sangat cocok dengan pasien Ny.Z dan terapi ini dapat terus dilakukan oleh pasien dan keluarga dalam upaya mengurangi vertigo.
