Title A name given to the resource Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Terhadap Pengetahuan Diet Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Puskesmas Cubadak tahun 2019 Description An account of the resource Diabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit penyakit gangguan metabolisme gula darah, protein, dan lemak yang dikarakteristikkan dengan kondisi hiperglikemia yang memerlukan penanganan jangka panjang. Pasien DM yang berobat ke Puskesmas Cubadak masih banyak yang belum mengetahui apa itu penyakit DM apa penyebab serta bagaimana cara mengatasinya. Selain itu masih banyak pasien yang belum mengontrol pola makannya,sehingga dapat meningkatkan kadar gula dalam tubuh yang dapat memperburuk kondisi pasien. Maka dari itu pendidikan kesehatan merupakan cara yang baik untuk memberikan informasi pengetahuan pasien DM agar lebih baik sehingga tidak memperburuk kondisi pasien DM. adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan diet pasien DM di Puskesmas Cubadak tahun 2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif,dengan menggunakan metode pre test-post test design. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purfosif sampling yang berjumlah 20 orang. Instrument penelitian menggunakan kuesioner, pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan leaflet. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil uji statistic didapatkan nilai pvalue dimana p < 0.01 yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan diet pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di poliklinik puskesmas cubadak. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi pelayanan kesehatan dalam meningkatkan program promosi kesehatan terutama dalam bidang pendidikan kesehatan dan semakin memperhatikan tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat terutama dalam bidang kesehatan.
