<text>In Permenkes No. 83 of 2013 it is stated that every hospital is required to implement
a Hospital Information System. Hospital Information System Arrangement (SIMRS)
aims to improve efficiency, effectiveness, professionalism, performance, as well as
hospital access and services. SIMRS is also a requirement for the Social Security
Administrative Body in cooperating with hospitals . Integrated SIMRS can also
increase the value of hospital accreditation. Based on the background of this
problem, the formulation of the problem in this study is how to implement the
Hospital Management Information System in the Outpatient Section of the Padang
Panjang City Hospital in 2023. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the
Hospital Management Information System in the Outpatient Section using the HotFit
method in RSUD K o ta Padang Panjang. This type of research is a qualitative
evaluative study with the method of observation and in-depth interviews with 5
informants consisting of 1 Head of Administration, 1 Head of Planning, 1 SIMRS
cardholder, 1 pharmacist and 1 SIMRS officer . The research results show that
SIMRS currently has 5 people with needs but need to add system analysis staff .
Officers have not received SIMRS special training. Not all officers have experience in
applying SIMRS, there are still officers who are dissatisfied with the SIMRS
application, the existing policies are only in the form of SOPs, the existing funds are
sufficient for the implementation of SIMRS, the existing network is running well but
has problems on certain days, quality and quantity Hardware has supported the
implementation of SIMRS but still has problems because there is still a network that
rides on, the application is easy to use, needs additional detailed data, information is
easy to read, data is accurate and can be stored safely, information is easy to find
again, has made work easier but needs improvement, can reduce waiting time. The
Hospital management information system in the outpatient department is already
running well but needs further development so that it can improve the quality of the
hospital. </text>
